Mark launched his new business ‘Aromafires’ based in Burnley and came to us seeking to launch an online store to sell his brand new products online. The product being a bio ethanol luxurious portable table fire finished in the customers choice of premium hardwood.
Mark not only needed the website creating, he needed the brand designing from the ground up. Following an initial meeting we got to work on designing the Aromafires brand. Together we decided on a minimal, luxurious aesthetic that matched the product itself. The main focus on colours were blacks and whites with a minimal green input. This offered great versatility on all potential backgrounds and helped stay inline with the minimalist approach, with the green signifying the use of eco friendly fuels.
The next step was to create the website itself. With the input from our team and Mark himself on how he would like the website to look and function, we got to work.
The design needed to work with the brand we had initially created for Aromafires with the product being at the forefront of the website. This worked really well as the minimalist design very much allowed the products to be properly showcased throughout the site. We made sure to offer customers easy navigation and functionality so that buying the products they want was simple and straightforward. Using Woocommerce we integrated the store offering customers safe and secure shopping, as well as an SSL for the website’s security. As with all of our websites we worked to ensure the site was fully responsive and provided a great customer experience on all devices.
We wanted to ensure that the homepage truly showcased the product, including a pop up offer for the Aromafires UK launch. All designed with a mobile first approach to ensure the website’s visitors have a great experience wherever they view the website from.
The products page was designed to give users ease of access to the singular products. We used an approach that is picture heavy to show the product itself rather than provide too much information. Product picture, name and price is what we believe was the best approach with more information available when clicking through to the products themselves.
This page is used as an easy access point for customers to purchase the fuel needed for the products.
